I'm happy to announce you that our beloved project has been selected one of the finalists at Mini Seedcamp Paris, which will take place on the 24th of April.

I can't tell you how happy I am about this, and I better go prepare our DEMO and presentation and speech and everything.

So exciting!

To framework or not to framework

We've had to make a tough decision today. If we're going to use a framework or not. It's been a long and tireful meeting, and we've decided: we're going to use Symfony Framework.

There are some pertinent reasons as well as some selfish ones on why we're doing this. First, there's no point on reinventing a wheel that's already a wheel that spins. Secondly, a framework gives us something to work with instead of starting from scratch. And thirdly, we've been working with Symfony Framework since its beginnings and we really, really believe it's THE framework to work with.

What do you guys think?

This is our first blog post. We, as in "the brainients", a team of programmers, designers and internet enthuziasts who've been working together for the past three or four years.

Our goal is to change the world. One bit at a time. In the next few years we'll be reinventing online video. You'll see us everywhere: twitter, facebook, blogs, events, UK, France, Romania, US, Denmark.

How we're planning to reinvent online video is a whole different story, but for now we only wanted to let you know that we exist and that we're really passionate about what we do: (re)inventing stuff.
